EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs

Both at home and abroad, Trauma Recovery, EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs (Trauma Recovery/HAP), focuses its efforts on building the capacity of under-served communities to secure effective trauma treatment through proper training and developing local Trauma Recovery Network (TRN) chapters. Our continuous efforts have positively impacted the lives of many, enabling them to move forward with their lives and be free of the trauma they experienced.

Mission

To increase the capacity for effective treatment of psychological trauma in under-served communities anywhere in the world. Today that mission is reflected in:

  • Hundreds of low-cost training workshops

  • Educational outreach and training

  • Preparation of clinicians for our Trauma Recovery Network

  • Focused international projects to establish sustainable EMDR General Brochure Cover

  • Treatment capability in developing countries

  • Collaboration with researchers to share knowledge and findings worldwide

Workshop Leader

Peggy Moore is an EMDR Institute trainer with 25 years of experience with EMDR and 12 years teaching experience worldwide. This training meets the EMDRIA training requirements. Ten hours of consultation are required. Five between Part 1 and Part 2 and five after Part 2 and these hours are included in the basic training offered. Ms. Moore is generally available for consultation on the first Thursday and Friday of each month in person and by video conference.
